The new 58/08 pickups have me really excited about adding, what I consider, the ideal PRS to my stable. Not quite either one but very vintage and very cool. The DGT reall has a tight focus on mids and ends up falling in between a Les Paul and 335 for me. I've always loved the McCarty and still do. I never liked the HFS or Dragon II pickups but they are "traditional". I can tell you I'm a spoiled perfectionist with guitars. Transition mid-set from the Ricks to the PRS is unnatural and inhibiting due to the variance of feel.
